Please be aware that this guide is quite long and covers many aspects of our activities, presenting a lot of information in one place. For new students of the Ascended Masters, it may feel overwhelming. 1. Who are we—and why do we do what we do?
Hi, this is Kim and Julita.
Kim
Kim has been a messenger for the ascended masters for over two decades. During this time, he has brought forth a vast body of teachings in the form of over a thousand dictations, over seventy books, and hundreds of spiritual tools such as decrees, invocations, meditations, and visualizations.
All of these teachings and tools have one main purpose. They are not meant only to give you intellectual knowledge or concepts about the spiritual path—although that is part of it.
Their true purpose is to help you step onto the inner spiritual path, walk it, heal your psychological wounds and traumas, and overcome anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, making real progress on this inner journey. In doing so, you come to feel better about yourself and the world around you, ultimately achieving a higher state of spiritual and psychological freedom.
Kim has not only been bringing these teachings but has also actively helped many people step onto and walk this path toward manifesting a higher state of consciousness.
At the heart of it, the teachings are meant to help you become independent on the path. They help you develop your own connection with the masters and your higher self, so that over time, you no longer need an outer messenger. In that sense, Kim’s success means that you may no longer need him.
This does not necessarily mean you stop benefiting from the teachings and other activities —quite the opposite. You may begin to experience them on a deeper level, developing an inner connection and guidance from within – from the masters and your I AM Presence – guiding you along your path, through your divine plan, and through the teachings themselves.

I am Julita, Kim’s wife–not the first one, but hopefully the last one 😀 I work mostly behind the scenes, supporting Kim in the practical aspects of his work—websites, the online store, events, and webinars—and helping you with any technical issues you may encounter along the way.
I am also an ascended master student. I found the teachings in 2011, and since then I have been fully engaged in walking this path myself. Like many other students, I have gone through different stages and phases, facing my own challenges and working through my psychology.
Through this process, I have developed an inner connection to the masters and to my I AM Presence. I have overcome many limitations, and this allows me to support others who are going through similar experiences—sharing from what I have personally lived and transcended.
Orientation guides for new students
In a way, I have also been a newcomer to the teachings myself, gradually working through them step by step. Because of that, I know from my own experience how it feels to come into the teachings from the outside. It can be overwhelming, and it can be difficult to orient yourself within the teachings, activities, and the community.
This is why I decided to write this not so 🙂 short orientation guide for new students—and hopefully it may also be helpful for those of you who are not new. But this guide focuses on what we offer and on the kinds of activities you can engage in as a student of the ascended masters. It is not primarily focused on the teachings themselves or on how to navigate them.
At the same time, the body of teachings is very extensive. It covers a wide range of topics—from personal transformation to global change—and the masters present different perspectives depending on the focus and level of consciousness of the different students. For this reason, I am working on a separate guidebook dedicated specifically to the teachings, to help students more easily navigate the dictations and books published by us since 2002.
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions about what to include. If you also have ideas on how to improve this guide, I would really value your feedback, as I see this as a two-way process rather than a one-sided creation. Thank you.
2. How to approach the teachings
If you are new to the ascended master teachings, you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of material—websites, books, tools, and events. That is how I felt when I found the teachings. And yes, there is always more coming. This is because the teachings are based on progressive revelation: new insights, perspectives, and tools are continuously released.
This means we are not meant to reach a point where we feel we “know it all.” In fact, one of the core principles of the ascended masters teachings is that there is no final or ultimate knowledge or truth. There is always a higher perspective we can reach.
The key is to shift our approach from hoping for some ultimate knowledge to embracing a dynamic process of growth—without feeling that we are lacking anything. As we walk the path, we move away from a place of lack to a sense of connection and fulfillment, reaching for higher understanding not out of sense of lack but simply because we want to be more.
The masters give teachings and tools that correspond to specific levels of consciousness. As we apply them and raise our awareness, we become ready for a higher understanding. This is an ongoing process; it does not end, as we can always be more. As the masters said many times: There is always more to experience.
Why is this important?
Because it makes it much easier to navigate the material. You do not need to study everything at once. Instead, focus on what resonates with you right now.
Focus on one thing
Choose one topic, one teaching, or one tool that speaks to you. Work with it. Apply it to your current personal situation and challenges, and your own psychology. Over time, as you grow, you may feel ready to move on—to a new book or course, a new perspective, or a different approach.
You may also notice that your understanding of yourself – and your approach to the path, the teachings, and the masters – shifts with time. This is natural. But it does not happen automatically. You may need, after some time when the honeymoon is over, when your enthusiasm starts fading away, to question your approach, your motives, and your expectations of the path. You grow and you may be ready for a higher approach to the path.
So as a general rule approach the teachings and the path as a dynamic, evolving process. Start where you are. Work with what resonates with you right now. And allow your path to unfold step by step from there.
Knowing and understanding this can help you avoid unnecessary frustration and have a more positive, transformative experience on the path.
3. Where to start
3.1.Follow your intuition
Where you begin depends on your background, your experience, and where you are on your spiritual path.
If you feel a clear inner intuitive sense of what to study or focus on—follow it. Trust what resonates with you.
It is helpful to occasionally step back and look at your approach and ask yourself whether you might be ready to step up.
Wherever you start, you may still benefit from studying the Ascended Masters Resources website (see below) to become familiar with the basic concepts of the teachings, which makes studying all other material easier. You can also benefit from studying the Self-Mastery Course (see below) at some point, as the masters recommend it to all students, regardless of where they are on their spiritual path.
3.2. What if you don’t know where to start?
It’s completely normal not to know where to start—and quite common, so there’s no need to worry.
If you feel drawn to the teachings but aren’t sure where to begin, you might find these starting points helpful:

3.2.1 Ascended Masters Resources website
If you are new, a good place to start is the Ascended Masters Resources website, which contains the foundational teachings on the ascended masters, their path, and the spiritual teachings they offer.
After you have a basic understanding of the key concepts, you can move on to our other websites–you’ll find a list of them in the next section (4.1).
Studying the free content available on our websites can help you anchor yourself in the teachings and find what resonates with you most, allowing you to see what you would like to focus on.
3.2.2. The Path to Self-Mastery course
When you are familiar with the content and concepts used in the teachings, and you still do not have clarity about what to focus on, you can begin studying and working with the Path to Self-Mastery—a structured series of books designed to take you through the initiations that can raise your consciousness from the 48th to the 96th level.
This series consists of two introductory books, followed by one book for each of the seven spiritual rays. If the concept of levels of consciousness and spiritual rays feels strange to you, it is a good idea, as mentioned earlier, to study the Ascended Masters Resources website and learn all the basic and key concepts.
Path to Self-Mastery course can be taken by any spiritual seeker. The masters recommend this course to every ascended master student, even to those who may feel from within that they are already above the 96th level of consciousness, or they are attracted to other content of the teachings, as it gives you an opportunity to revisit steps on your path that you might have missed or not fully integrated. In this way, you can make sure that there is nothing that pulls you below the 96th level of consciousness, where Christhood begins.
3.2.3. Ego Illusions, Games and Dramas books (Ego Discourses)
If you are serious about working on your psychology and your spiritual path, one essential concept you need to learn and understand more deeply is the human ego. To help with this, Jesus gave a three-book series* that offers a brief overview of the challenges the human ego presents to all spiritual seekers, regardless of the outer teaching or religion they follow. This is, so to speak, the very least you should know about the ego.
These books are designed not only to help you understand the ego, but also to help you start the process of overcoming it, which is essential for attaining a higher state of consciousness.
Depending on your focus and needs, some of you may find it beneficial to start with these books even before engaging in The Self-Mastery Course. Alternatively, you may choose to study them after, or alongside, the course.
What may be a little confusing for new students is that The Self-Mastery Course and the Ego Discourses use different concepts: the separate, subconscious selves and the ego. While there are some differences between them, from an overall perspective they can often be used interchangeably, and the masters frequently use them in that way.
The key point is that the masters introduce certain concepts gradually. For example, they first gave more general teachings about the ego as preparation for more detailed teachings about separate selves. This reflects the principle of progressive revelation: as we internalize one level of teaching, a new level is given. This often includes new concepts that allow us to see a more detailed and subtle view of reality.

3.3.Healing Your Spiritual Traumas books–Avatars revelations series
Some students, when they find the teachings, feel very much attracted to the Healing Your Spiritual Traumas books. And I just wanted to comment of this series of books.
This is a series of books designed for spiritual students who are ready to work on deeper aspects of their psychology.
Some students feel strongly drawn to this series of books, but at the same time, they may have doubts about whether it is a good place to start.
If this is your situation, it is generally best to start with the Self-Mastery Course or study it alongside The Avatar Revelations series, depending on what is realistic for you.
Working on the deeper levels of the psychology requires being well-grounded on your spiritual path, as it will bring you to aspects of yourself that you have been avoiding for a long time. It demands a strong sense of inner security when facing projections from the dark forces, along with clear intuition and a strong connection with your Higher Self and the masters. The Path to Self-Mastery course is designed to guide you gradually to this point where you are ready to heal your deep spirtual traumas. So if you feel you still miss any above and have any doubt where to start, start with the Self-Mastery course.
But if you have a strong intuitive sense that this is where you need to start—that this is what you are ready for—simply study and work through the books and the related material available on our websites.
You may still benefit from studying the Ascended Masters Resources website to become familiar with the basic concepts of the teachings, which makes studying all other material easier. It can also still benefit you to study the Self-Mastery Course at some point, as the masters recommend it to all students, regardless of where they are on their spiritual path.
4. The Ascended Master Resources network – What do we offer?
4.1.The websites
As I have said, our purpose is to bring forth and spread the teachings of the ascended masters given through Kim and assist you in the process of walking the path to Christhood.
In order to do it we have created the Ascended Master Resources network, a collection of eight websites along with the More to Life online store.
The websites can be divided into two categories: the Ascended Masters’ core websites and the more universal websites. The first are for people who are not only ready for the ideas from the masters, but are also ready to encounter the masters more directly.
The more universal websites are for people who may be open to some new spiritual ideas, but not necessarily ready for the Ascended Masters. That is why they are not directly linked to the core websites, as we do not want to create a barrier that may be too difficult for some people to cross.
However, we include links to the more universal websites on our core websites, as they may still be beneficial for students of the Ascended Masters.
Together, they offer a wide range of spiritual teachings, tools, and insights to support both personal growth and self-transcendence, as well as the transformation of the world toward the Golden Age.
As I said, if you are new to the teachings, a good starting point is to first study the Ascended Masters Resources website, which contains the foundational teachings about the ascended masters, their teachings, and the spiritual path they offer. You may also study the free content available on other our websites to anchor yourself in the teachings, finding what resonates with you the most and focusing on that.

Our most frequently updated websites are Ascended Master Light (AML), where we publish dictations from the masters given during our events, and Ascended Masters Answers (AMA), where after every event we post the Questions and Answers sessions.
Some dictations are turned into books, and in those cases we publish only excerpts on AML. All other dictations are made available in full, with free access.
About a month after each conference or webinar, written dictations and Q&A sessions are published on the AML and AMA site. In the side menu, you can find a category called Dictations by Event, which makes it easy to locate teachings from specific events. To find new questions, go to New Answers on the AMA website.
4.2.The store (More to Life)
Much of the material given by the masters is freely available on the Ascended Master Resources network websites. Some of the teachings given by the masters have been turned into books, ebooks, and audiobooks, which you can find in our More to Life store. In the store, you’ll discover:

4.5. Decrees and Invocations
What are they?
If you are serious about making real progress on your spiritual path, you will need to use spiritual tools to transform accumulated negative energy in your energy field—across the emotional, mental, and identity levels of your mind.
A common experience for many spiritual students is understanding concepts intellectually but still struggling to apply them in daily life. Often, this difficulty arises from accumulated negative energy in the energy field, which can pull us into recurring emotional patterns despite our intellectual understanding of what lies behind them.
This is where a unique tools offered by the Ascended Masters comes in to bridge that gap. Decrees and invocations are spiritual tools designed to invoke high-frequency spiritual energy from the spiritual realm to transform lower-frequency energy in our personal energy field.
How they work
They are written tools that you read aloud, using the power of the spoken word—one of the universe’s fundamental creative forces. Released by the Ascended Masters, these tools are specifically designed to call spiritual light into the four levels of the material universe and into our energy field. This light has profound effects: it can transform fear-based energy in your emotional body, remove blocks in your mental body, and support the practical application of spiritual concepts in your daily life.
Decrees and invocations work in slightly different ways:
- Decrees are verses, usually rhymed, often with four lines per verse and a repeated refrain. A decree can have up to nine verses and has a natural rhythm, allowing it to be recited smoothly, even quickly. This makes it an efficient way to invoke spiritual light. Before starting, you can call upon a Master to direct the light toward specific conditions. A decree can be recited once, three times, nine times, or more, depending on your intention.
- Invocations (or rosaries) consist of affirmations addressing specific conditions in your personal life or on a planetary level. Between these affirmations, verses—often from decrees addressed to specific Masters—are repeated. Unlike decrees, invocations are less rhythmic but highly effective for directing the Masters’ light to particular conditions.
Where to findAscended Masters offer many of these tools. Many are available for free on our Transcendence Toolbox (TT) website, designed specifically for spiritual tools. There, you can find all decrees given by the masters through Kim, as well as many personal and world invocations. Additional personal and world invocations are included in books focused on specific topics or issues.
Simple, but not always easy
While these tools are simple to use—you just read them aloud—they may not feel easy at first. Speaking a decree aloud can feel unusual, especially for those used to silent meditation, or for those who find the rhymed verses simple or even childish. Yet with sincere practice, most people quickly get used to it. The best motivation is noticing that the decrees work: you may be amazed at how much more light can be invoked through the spoken word compared to silent meditation—not that silent meditation isn’t valuable, but the spoken word is a very powerful force.
Most people feel improvement quickly when they start invoking light, gradually building momentum that makes giving decrees and invocations easier and more natural. However, some may experience inner resistance or temporary discomfort. This is because the light both transforms negative energy and makes you aware of it as it flows through your energy field. For some, this process can feel more challenging than for others.

5.1.In-person conferences
What is it–and why attend?
We usually hold 3–4 in-person conferences a year, but it always depends on the initiative of ascended master students who feel called to organize a conference in their location. Over the last decade, we have had frequent conferences in Korea, Holland, Estonia, the USA, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Lithuania.
A conference is essentially a gathering that has some basic structure. There are 3 sessions per day and every session usually begins with decrees and invocations. Then Kim receives dictations from the masters, and later we have the opportunity to ask questions, which the masters typically answer.
A conference is a great opportunity to feel the presence of the ascended masters and meet and talk to Kim and other students. It is a time when we can share our experiences on the path and see that we are not alone in the challenging process of working through our psychology.
We meet people who become our good friends, we stay in touch online, and we support each other on the path. Some (like me) have even met life partners, changing their lives significantly. With each new conference, we often feel it was the best one – until the next one – as we build an upward spiral of acceptance, harmony, and love.
Many new people attending their first conference feel accepted and loved, and that is something they carry with them on the next steps of their path.
At the same time, for some people, the first conference can be an intense experience. Feeling overwhelmed is natural. Many of us have experienced that, including myself. You do not need to worry that this is something that should not happen, it is just part of the experience and it may help to talk to other students about how you feel.
The matrix
A very important aspect of the conference is that we create an open door for the masters to stream light, higher matrices, and ideas into the collective consciousness. Each conference (and webinar) has a topic and focus, and the masters give teachings on that in the form of dictations and are releasing light through our chakras. The more harmonious the group, the more light the masters can release.
At the end Gautama Buddha (rarely other masters) seals the conference, which is not only sealing the physical or online event but also a sealing of the matrix of the conference, the geometrical shape of ideas, concepts and energies released – in a co-creative process with us below – from the spiritual realm into the four levels of material world. That matrix is now present in the identity, mental, emotional and physical level that can be accessed by the people in embodiment. So now it is on the level where it is easier for people to attune in to it. That way the new ideas spread faster in the collective consciousness.
When and how to attend
Usually at the beginning of the year we post information about the conferences planned for the coming year on the Events with Kim Michaels page or our News site. Details are posted a few months before each event, giving enough time to plan participation, as we know it requires both organizational and financial effort.
If you’re planning to join an in-person conference, you’re invited to take part in the group activities or sightseeing tours that the organizing team often arranges before or after the event. These are joyful experiences and a wonderful opportunity to connect with other students and spend extra time together.
Attending online
If you cannot attand in person you can always join the webinar that is a broadcast of the physical event. You can read more about webinars in the section below.
5.2. Webinars
In order to both allow people who are not able to attend a physical event in person to participate in a conference, and also to give the masters more opportunity to release light and teachings, we organize online events—webinars—using the Zoom platform to broadcast the sessions.
We offer two kinds of webinars:
- Those that broadcast in-person conferences online, so everyone has an opportunity to attend and share the experience.
- Standalone webinars, organized as independent, universal or region-focused events on specific topics.
How to participate in a webinar
We usually announce both standalone webinars and in-person conferences webinars some months before they take place.
But we post webinars in the store about two weeks before the event, you can find them in an Events section. After payment, you receive access to a webinar ebook with links to the Zoom sessions and to the webinar webpage, where you will find links to the recordings.
After the webinar, you will have access to the Zoom video recordings, so you can revisit the experience. They are typically available for at least a month after the event.
5.3. Language Support Service
Our events are held in English. To support participants who are not comfortable with that language, the organizing team often arranges live interpretation into the language of the host country during in-person conferences.
There is also available AI-based translation in many languages for both in-person events and online webinars. This is made possible through a dedicated Webinar Viewer app created by Dongwon, an ascended master student from Korea, whose work we greatly appreciate. The translation service is also provided via a web browser.

5.4. Q&A sessions
During our events, participants have the unique opportunity to ask questions directly to the ascended masters. This is a gift from the masters for the students who made an effort to participate in the in-person conference or online webinar. For this reason, Kim no longer answers questions to the masters outside of events. Early in his messenger work, he did respond individually, but now this guidance is offered exclusively during events.
How to send a question
When you register for an event, you will find clear instructions in the webinar ebook, or you will receive instructions from the team organizing the in-person conference.

Note: The masters do not give advice on what you should do in your particular situation. Instead, they offer a higher perspective and understanding, making it easier for you to see what the best decision is for you.
5.4.Vigils
During the year, we have both continuous and limited-time vigils.
What is a vigil?
The ascended masters ask people around the world to give the same invocation, rosary, or decree once a day (at any convenient time) for a certain period—such as 9, 15, or 33 days. We have also ongoing vigils like Mother Mary’s 500 World Vigil, that is held every last Sunday of the month.
The masters select the invocations based on what is most needed to help avoid certain conditions or raise collective consciousness.
How to participate
We announce vigils on the News site, and you can also find ongoing vigils on the Transcendence Toolbox site. You choose what you want to participate in and follow the instructions on the vigil page.
Why join a vigil?
When many people give the same invocation daily, the effect multiplies. It benefits both the planet and you personally. The power increases exponentially—for example: 2×2=4, 4×4=16, 16×16=256.
Current vigils
1.Mother Mary’s 500 World Vigil is held every last Sunday of the month. For this vigil, timing of giving invocation matters as we want to gather as many people as possible giving vigil invocations at the same time. Please read more about the vigil and check the timing of it for your particular location at the vigil page.
2.In 2025 we started the 12-Year Cycle Vigil, designed to unfold over 12 years, with each year dedicated to a specific ray. This vigil is part of the 12-Year Cycle of Releasing the Christ Light, as announced by the Masters during the 2025 New Year’s webinar.
3.On April 14, 2026, we will start a new— Christhood Vigil based on a new book Being the Living Christ in Everyday Life.

Online vigil meetings
We usually do not organize vigil online meetings ourselves, but some students do, and you are welcome to join them. You can find the information about these meeting on the AM community site (look below). You can also organize your own group or participate individually.

We do not have a formal organization with a defined structure to join. Instead, we have a movement and community of ascended master students that anyone can freely join and freely leave.
The best way to meet other students is during events, especially in-person conferences, and also through online events.
Facebook group and Ascended Masters Student Community
You can also join the Facebook group Students of Ascended Master Conferences or connect with others through the Ascended Masters Student Community website (created by Arttu). Both have been created by Ascended Master students to connect, share, and grow together. On the student website, you will find a calendar of online events, meetings, and vigils, as well as a blog where students share insights and experiences.

Local or national AM groups
In many countries, there are also local or national ascended master groups (more or less organized) where you can connect with others who walk the path to Christhood and who share your love for the ascended masters. Many of these groups also help organize in-person conferences for everyone to participate in.
6.2. Sharing our stories and experiences
The interviews
The masters say that part of both the path to Christhood and Christhood itself is to share our stories and experiences on the path with others. To support this, one of the ascended master students from Australia, Neptune has co-created two podcasts with interviews with ascended master students who follow the teachings given through Kim.
In these more than 30 interviews, Neptune speaks with ascended master students about their experiences on the path. These conversations are deeply inspiring and can help many of you recognize and transcend something in your own psychology.

Writing your story
We understand that speaking may not be everyone’s preferred way of expressing themselves. If you would like to share your story, experiences, or insights on the path with other students in written form, we have created a space on one of our websites for ascended master students to share your stories. You may also include to your story in a written form links to your personal websites, blogs, or YouTube channels.
Writing your story is a powerful way to process experiences and challenges on the path, and it may open you to new insights and perspectives on what you have gone through.
Sharing our stories is an opportunity both for those who share and for other students who may benefit from learning from your experiences.

6.3. Ascended Master Transcriber Team
If you want to help with our work, you can join the team of proofreaders who help transcribe audio recordings of dictations into text, that we later either publish on the AML website or we turn into books.
The Ascended Master Transcriber Team uses AI-supported software developed by Dongwon, (the same Dongwon who developed the AI translation service for our webinars and conferences :).
Thanks to Tom (the team coordinator), Dongwon and AI, the task is simple: you read a 20–30 minute draft segment of a dictation or Question/Answer session while listening to the provided audio file, correcting any mis-transcribed words or punctuation errors. 7. Counseling
Individual spiritual counseling sessions with Kim*
Kim offers individual spiritual counseling sessions focused on the Ascended Master teachings and your personal path. He has a unique ability to help you see and let go of the patterns that may be blocking you on your spiritual journey.
Kim uses his own experience and his connection to the masters to help you step higher on the path. He has an open, loving, and non-judgmental approach, he will adjust his counseling style in ways that are well-suited for you.
Price: €50 for a one-hour session.

Thanks to many dedicated students of the ascended masters who have wished to make the ascended masters message available to as many people as possible, the teachings are now accessible in many languages—through websites and books.

8.2. Translated books
Translated books are available in our store in the Translated Books section, with subcategories including Danish, Dutch, Estonian, German, Italian, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, and Finnish.
Please note that not all translated books are available in our store. Some translated books—such as those in French, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Korean, Polish or Russian—are sold directly by the translators on their own channels or websites. You can use the links to the translated websites to learn more about each edition.
